Job Title: Director of Sales – Strategy & Analytics
We are seeking a passionate and data-driven Director of Sales to revolutionize our sales team's performance through in-depth data analysis, tailored coaching, and strategic goal setting. In this role, you will empower our sales reps across the country with training, webinars, and new product communication, while leveraging data to identify top-selling categories and unlock the potential of other categories within each territory. This individual should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw insights from complex data sets.

This position is remote-based and will have some “travel” requirements.
- Analyze sales data for individual rep groups, identifying trends and best-selling categories to uncover new sales opportunities.
- Develop and implement targeted coaching strategies to help sales reps excel in underperforming categories within their territories.
- Design and deliver engaging training sessions and webinars to ensure the sales team is well-versed in our products and equipped to excel in their roles.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to effectively communicate new product launches and updates to the sales team.
- Set challenging yet achievable goals for each sales rep group, monitoring progress, and providing ongoing support and feedback.
- Drive sales growth by implementing data-driven insights and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
A data-driven sales professional will should have unique mix of sales experience, coaching, and data-analysis skillsets:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales or business development, with an extreme emphasis on data analysis.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Experience with data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating data-driven insights into actionable strategies.
- Adept at setting and tracking KPIs and other performance metrics to evaluate sales success and drive improvement.
- Knowledge of A/B testing, segmentation, and targeting strategies to optimize sales efforts.
- A growth mindset, with a passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in data-driven sales.
